Hi-
I think I’d add TheSuperlancers to your list here. I’d like to see a list of places you use, this is my main one besides Project4Hire.
Anyway, here’s that one you missed: http://www.thesuperlancers.com
Tons of cheap coders and designers, markerters, writers, whatever, but more programmers than projects for now so it’s probably a good time to fish for new coders and designers. I do. ;)
Hope that helps!
Jay
Thank Jay, just added the site to the list. Appreciate the help! nick
The only site I have used successfully is Guru.com. I have been able to find quality people rather easily.
Thanks Simon, my experience with Guru has been quite positive as well. nick
i think scriptlance.com is missed
Thanks! It is missing indeed, I will add it shortly.
Great compendium, Nick. I like the idea of providing a summary description for each site.
Thanks Abbas, i wish WP supported user rating / comments for entries. But the only way to get there is hosting your own version + mods.
Hi Nick,
Thanks for pointing me to this article, it’s good to know what is out there.
I think http://www.expertMagnet.com differs from most of the others by having a reverse auction structure, where buyers can post a detailed request on what they need, and vendors can reply to that with a tailored response.
Additionally, it focuses only on the Tertiary industry (the ‘knowledge economy’), and avoids the Secondary industry (manufacturing), where alibaba.com has a fairly strong foothold.
Regards,
Mark
add one more but they allow only Enterprises to dealt with – http://www.outsourcingdeals.com and it is not just IT.
Nick:
Nicely collated list…thank you so much.
BR,
Manu
Hi, I only knew about elance and getafreelancer. List is great. I have also heard that there are country-specific sites that are like local versions of craigslist where people can post jobs and get help. Certain countries have a stronger outsource/free lance community than others.
Hi
This is a great list…. I want to add the http://www.auctionsforbusiness.com/ which has a number of freelance projects posted..
thx
Hi Nick,
Just come across this list via Guru->Twitter…Thanks for taking the time to compile it.
Would it be possible to add our site http://www.theragtrader.com ?
We have a similar model to Guru, etc, but only focus on the fashion industry. The site is run by people with a lot of experience working within fashion so we offer a more tailored experience (no pun intended!).
will do; thanks for the note
Hi Nick,
Found your site looking for “easy outsourcing” and have been finding a lot of great content here. Might I suggest my company for your list: easyoutsource.com is new (just launched about 3 months ago) and focuses on the Philippines. We’re a good place to find bloggers, WordPress programmers, and general personal assistance.
will do; best of luck; nick
Hi Nick,
Thanks for compiling this list, there are a hell of a lot of great sites in the list. I would like to submit our website for your consideration – http://www.99designs.com, We are the biggest crowdsourcing community online (By contests, Alexa and other metrics)
Hope you keep up the good work, the easier it is for people to find these resources, the better the industry as a whole becomes.
Thanks,
Kristen
Will do, thanks for submit Kristen
I have been working mturk.com and I am looking for more data entry if you know of any could you please list more thanks.
I would like to recommend another site for freelance work.
http://www.ITeezy.com
It allows you to post your services at fixed rate and offers bunch of other tools.
I would like to add SriLance.com to your list.
http://www.SriLance.com
You can find freelancers for free of charge
I would like to add http:www.onlinejobs.ph
You can have competitive clients and workforce to work with any SEO related jobs.
I have found success on vworker but recently have run in to issues with them and the customer service, etc. I began browsing for new places and found http://www.ataskfreelancer. I think it’s worth mentioning on this list – I’ve already signed up and placed bids, they have free registration as they just recently launched so I think it’s worth a shot :)
You should add FreelanceYourEbook.com to the list. Free to the clients, specifically for ebooks and misc eProjects, and writers go through a screening process to ensure they are of high quality. Also, the writers don’t need to pay monthly members and have unlimited bids.
Hi,
You may include http://www.zylun.com which is most popular for IT Outsourcing.
Thanks,
Larry
Also do not forget about 99Desk.com. I have used them in the past with great success. http://www.99desk.com
Hi,
Would you be so kind to include http://www.freelancersoutpost.com , the premium freelancers marketplace?
Thanks,
I think you may have forgotten Hiretheworld.com… Their customer service is excellent and I’ve never had any problems with posting/updating job postings… As you can see its highly recommended :P
cheers,

It was an really useful resource. Some sites are best doing in freelancing jobs. I work on http://www.3to30.com/ which is pretty new micro jobs marketplace. I posted 5 micro services related to writing, proofreading, data entry. 3 out 5 is best moving.
I’m working on a way to incorporate very personalized video that can be embedded onto freelancers’ personal websites, shared on Facebook / Twitter, e-mailed to friends and potential clients, etc – a way to promote a freelancer’s portfolio and personal brand.
If this is something that anyone here might find useful, why don’t you check it out at: http://seemehearme.motionthink.com and let us know what you think?
It would be great to have more off-the-shelf tools for us freelancers to use to get more consistent work, and we hope we can assist in that effort. :)
This is an awesome list of freelance web sites. For the first time I was able to do a good comparison study. Thanks for sharing this.

Hi, I’ve recently come across a new site http://www.freelancepeople.co.uk that is offering a 3 month free trial and a chance to win an iPad if you register. Looks like a good site.
Hi, there is another website which is totally free for recruiters and companies with personnel requirements called freelancermap (http://www.freelancermap.co.uk). freelancermap is an IT project platform that connects IT freelancers with companies that offer vacant jobs or projects. After registration users can publish unlimited vacancies to receive applications and use the freelancer database to find appropriate technology experts. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland freelancermap is one of the most successful networks in the market. The platform recently was launched for the UK too.
You should also add in http://www.staff.com. It works like odesk.com but is mostly for full time work. You can outsource your work from the talented pool of resources from the Philippines, with quality results at cheaper labour costs!
I’d like to suggest a brand new site that’s a little bit different than normal freelance sites. This one focuses on creating a community of local freelancers where prospective clients can then find a freelancer in their own local community. I think there’s a valid need for something like this. It’s called http://freelancerlocal.com.
I am a client and found the task of project posting in top freelancing sites is a daunting job. The job posting forms are complicated and too much of information to share. Recently I visited and registered in http://www.hireprogrammers.in, where posting a project is simple and uncomplicated. I do not worry about safeguarding my confidential information relating to my project.
http://scriptsbay.com Join Free Everyday Outsource your projects to freelance programmers and designers at cheap prices. Freelancers will compete for your business. Get programming done for your site in php, mysql, xml, perl/cgi, javascript, asp, plus web design, search engine optimization, marketing, writing, job listings and so much more
One can also get employers from Microlancers.com
I recommend using http://www.freelancepeople.co.uk too. I’ve found some excellent Freelancers on there including developers and graphic designers and it’s great because they are still running as a free trial. I’m taking advantage of it whilst it lasts!

M Marks
Really useful list – thanks for maintaining :D Didn’t realise there was so many sources!
This is a good informative list. Thanks for the info. I know of http://www.adtriboo.com/en which is worth mentioning as they have 120,000 professionals specialized in video, creative designs, communications for businesses. The site operates in english and spanish so it can also be used for targeting the hispanic speaking community. We got many proposals and finally chose an awesome creative design which was within our limited budget.

i think you guys are missing the Vscriptlance.com the world most fast outcoming outsourcing site.
here both worker and employer are having great outsourcing marketpalce you can get more exprience quality work form thousand of professional..
Lanzee.com has no fees, it’s straightforward, but unfortunately no full-time jobs.
Odesk is still one of the best place to find freelance jobs. Many have been employed by Odesk.
Great list of freelancing sites resources where you could find freelancers to hire. Another great site where you hire freelancers is Staff.com https://www.staff.com/
It allows you to conduct an interview or have a 10 hours trial before you hire them, which helps you reduce the risk of hiring a freelancer who is not competent enough to do the job.
Just came across a wonderful freelancing website http://www.99hours.com as it belongs specifically for web development works and found it pretty interesting as such, got very authentic clients which is something really hard to find and above all they have got schemes for freelancers which is equal to as if I was working for any MNC on job roll.
Some of which are listed below: –
• Incentives/Loyalty Bonus
• Gifts
• Medical Benefits
• Movie Tickets
• Food and other coupons
Apart from this they offer their best support and much more involvement which no other freelancing site offers. And that’s what makes them amazingly different and far more innovative.
Hi,
nice list of that freelancer sites, but here is one more which you missed http://www.app-lancer.com
Atennerajob.co.uk is another website which allows freelancers to post gigs and earn cash.
http://www.freelanceanything.com is the place I’m currently using to bring in sales resources Commission – only
http://zumzzy.com/ Its a business directory of freelancers. Its different from other freelancing sites. There is no project posting and bidding kinda things there. The freelancers can make their profile, list their services, portfolio, price package, contact details etc. And the client just have to search the skill they are looking for and they will get the list of freelancers with that specific skills. They can contact the freelancers directly using the contact details mentioned in the Contact info page of the freelancer’s profile. And the best part is its free for both freelancers and clients.
I think meritunion.com can get into the list..quite promising.
A site where you can add your freelancer profile for free is http://ihubbub.com/search-uk-freelancers, you can search for freelancers by skills and also by location.
iHubbub is also a network for freelancers. It enables you to create profiles, get business advice, sell products, find new clients and search jobs.
Hi, Good list,
A new site has just appeared that looks pretty good. The creatives need to be vetted for quality bore joining.
http://create-theworld.com
Maybe you should check freelancermap, i’m working really successful on this platform.
There are a ton of different freelance websites out there and its definitely hard to know which ones are worth yoru time. Ive had a little luck with oDesk and Elance but recently the best paying jobs have been on http://www.workersoncall.com. Also their fees seem to be a bit less, I’ll follow up soon.
I think SEOCLERKS.COM is the best microjobsite. Yeah!
I have been using fiverr too but near everything I have ordered from fiverr has been crappy quality, when I try to get my money back fiverr never helps me and does not let me get refunded. I have had a couple of problematic orders on seoclerks and my money was refunded swiftly. I genuinely recommend seoclerks for anybody who is buying or selling seo/hosting/social/forum services.
Really amazing list of websites. I personally prefer Fiverr and Seoclerks. Even Freelancers is not at bad, however it seems pricey in comparison to other two.

I was wondering if you could share your feedback or review about this website http://www.outbounders.com/. I saw them online when I was browsing the web for online jobs.
Thank you!
Rey, this looks like an interesting site, with clear business model and simple UI. Alas, it’s not my cup of tea – i do not know much about outsourcing outbound telemarketing. Maybe someone else can reply to Rey? Thanks, Nick
I see. Thanks for your swift response Nick, appreciate it. Yeah, perhaps someone had experience working with them.
